Outdoor, sports and sustainability – these are the constants in my life. For me, these topics are intertwined and my entire passion belongs to them – whether as a private person, a leader or a speaker. In sport and in nature, we overcome our limits and find our freedom. But in order to maintain this space, we have to set limits to our actions in everyday life.

We will not be able to do this alone. That’s why I want to inspire others: My heart’s desire is to challenge our current business concepts of competition. I want us to venture for more sustainability in the sports and outdoor industries and in the entire textile industry.

For me, this is not just theoretical, but I draw on broad experience in key positions in the outdoor and textile industry. This makes me authentic. Whether at events, trade shows, conferences or exclusive roundtables.

I also like to enrich events of other industries with „best-case presentations“. At the same time, I am a sought-after panelist for the triangle of sports – outdoor – sustainability.

MODERATOR

I am convinced: The most important thing for a successful moderation is creating a space in which my discussion partners feel safe to take an honest position. For me, it’s all about bringing the actual person to the surface.

That’s why, as a moderator, I am very present, relaxed, natural and confident, while keeping an eye on the content. Events only gain added value if the moderators know what they are talking about. That’s why I like to moderate events in the fields of sports, outdoor and sustainability.

It is always a special pleasure for me to meet new conversation partners or to lead old acquaintances through a program or discussion.

PODCASTER

In the course of my life I have had the opportunity to meet many interesting personalities, especially from the sports and outdoor sectors, who work with passion and great know-how. They are all worth listening to. That’s why I conceptualize podcasts and web shows, do the editorial planning and content research as well as the design and host them myself. I’ve hosted the podcast Spuzziness and I’m the host of the collaboration platform Sympathy-Lab.

I see myself as a kind of curator who asks the right questions and thus provides my interviewees with the perfect script for a content-rich conversation, so that viewers get as authentic a picture of their personality as possible.

SUPERVISORY BOARD

Diversity of opinion combined with openness to change increases innovative capacity in companies and paves the way for success. This is not something I made up, but scientifically proven (e.g. here).

Regardless of the context, it is a concern of mine – some say an intuitive ability – to give space and appreciation to different ways of thinking and perspectives. I recognize blind spots in order to drive decision-making processes in a fact-oriented and balanced way. The Experience I have gained in about 25 years in wide variety of leadership roles in the sports and outdoor industry contributes to this.

My focus always lies on the higher objective so I am not afraid to question even popular decisions.
